Legionnella bacterium, found in ponds, air conditioning/cooling systems and hot and cold water systems, multiplies in water between 20-45 °C.

The Premier Legionnaire’s Temperature Monitoring Kit, with its unique bluetooth® barcode thermometer, provides revolutionary new portable logging capability. Time, date, temperature and location identity are transmitted via bluetooth® to PC, mobile phone or PDA.

Kits are in demand at schools, offices, libraries, leisure centres and parks. Residential units (including holiday lets) represent a particular risk – also nursing homes, hospitals and hostels whose clients may be more vulnerable to the disease.
